A Sad, Sad, Day!

Today was an awful day. I was kind of down anyway, tryin' to get over these allergies. Darin came home and told me that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died!!! I was in shock, and still am. I remember where I was when Elvis died...on my way to church with my neighbors, I had on a white turtleneck and a skirt, and I had a cold. Today when Darin told me about Michael Jackson, I was "UNDER" my scrapbooking table, sorting cardstock and patterned papers. That's the only place that I had room to sort it!! Such sad news....everyone has to go sometime, we're NEVER prepared to let them go. My prayers are with their families! God bless them.

Cherry Good Wishes

I just recently started visiting this blog called, Bitten by the Bug and I was excited to see that there are contests held to encourage you to use your Cricut Machine and Cartridges more. I decided to give it a try. Here's the challenge: Use a sketch designed by Shortcuts and use the George Cartridge (flower cut) design to create a card/layout. This is my take on the sketch...enjoy!
